音乐学会 The beginning of Music Club SJKC Kota Emerald
Music Club SJKC Kota Emerald was established in January 2016. The main purposes of establishing Music Club is to (1) promote music education in school, (2) enable students to engage in Music activities after school, (3) provide support to the schools performance and (4) strengthen the music learning culture in school.
Currently Music club of SJKC Kota Emerald is organizing weekly practice session for both Choir and band. Pupils who are interested in singing or wanting to learn singing are encouraged to join the Saturday Choir session. For those student who are interested to play in band are welcomed to join with the Saturday Band session.
The venue and time of Music club practice session are as below
Choir
Day of practice: Every Saturday
Time: 7:00-9:00 a.m.
Venue: Music Room, Third floor, SJKC Kota Emerald.
Band
Day of practice: Every Saturday
Time: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Venue: Music Room, Third floor, SJKC Kota Emerald.
Instructor
The Instructor for Choir and band is Mr. Lim Li Wen and Mdm. Irene Chai Pei Lyn. Both obtained their Degree in Music Education from Teacher's training college (Ilmu Khas, Cheras) and currently pursuing their Master Degree in Music Education in UPSI (University Pendidikan Sultan Idris).
Any student from SJKC Kota Emerald who interested to join the Music Club may contact Mr. Lim or Mdm. Irene through School's contact number.
