Starting 2017, Music subject is part of arts education subject in general primary school. The units in this subject are presented in a thematic approach in which lessons are structured around a series of topics. Visual arts subject will be presenting closely along with what is learn in music and vice versa. At the end of the year, students are required to present their work in visual art as well as performing in the organised musical performances. Musical literacy (learning contents) and musical skills including singing and playing instrument remain the same.
